TEAM OWNERS

SABL members are committed to making minor league basketball a reputable business again. SABL members and advisors have experience in managing minor league teams and have lived through the pitfalls of trying to maintain viable local organizations with minimal league support.

This experience has led to a simple solution and formula: THE LEAGUE IS RUN BY THE TEAMS. Through a Board of Directors on which each team has equal representation and authority, the SABL approves all new teams and owners. Through a simple screening process, the SABL ensures all team owners have the resources to complete the season and are in general upstanding members of the business and basketball communities.
